Actually, I&#8217;ll post in this category all the interesting\/unbelievable\/weird\/&#8230; places I found using the GoogleEarth software. If you&#8217;ve never used it, you would be impressed by all the things you could discover, and by the image quality of some regions (some cities in Switzerland feature a resolution of 25cm!!!).<\/p>\n<p>So let start with the first places that worth sharing (clicking the links allows you to download the <strong>.kmz<\/strong> files, which can then be imported in GoogleEarth by a &#8220;File->Open->browse to the file&#8221; action):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"files\/googleearth\/firefox_crop.kmz\" title=\"Download kmz file\">Firefox Circle crop<\/a>: self explicit&#8230;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"files\/googleearth\/Planes_cemetery_(Tucson).kmz\" title=\"Download kmz file\">Planes cemetery<\/a>: so much planes!!!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"files\/googleearth\/Weird_camping_in_the_desert.kmz\" title=\"Download kmz file\">Weird camping in the desert<\/a>: really weird&#8230;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"files\/googleearth\/Circular_Fields.kmz\" title=\"Download kmz file\">Circular Fields<\/a>: those look like giant turntables!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Don&#8217;t hesitate to share your discoveries!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I created a new category dedicated to GoogleEarth.
