I&#8217;ve just discovered the bracketing feature, allowing you to take multiple photos of the same subject with different exposures, successively. Consequently, here is my first try at <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/HDRI\">HDRI<\/a> (High Dynamic Range Imaging):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/97056403@N00\/2334290407\/\" class=\"tt-flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3132\/2334290407_4f9a05c941.jpg\" alt=\"hdr_final.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"335\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To get to the final result here above, which contains details for both the sky (sun and clouds) and the foreground (house), I used three images with different exposures, from short to long (dark to light):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/97056403@N00\/2334289971\/\" class=\"tt-flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2170\/2334289971_dab333aa28_t.jpg\" alt=\"hdr_dark.jpg\" width=\"100\" height=\"67\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/97056403@N00\/2334291377\/\" class=\"tt-flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2374\/2334291377_0b9a1641bd_t.jpg\" alt=\"hdr_med.jpg\" width=\"100\" height=\"67\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/97056403@N00\/2334290929\/\" class=\"tt-flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2402\/2334290929_c666872910_t.jpg\" alt=\"hdr_light.jpg\" width=\"100\" height=\"67\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The dark image contains details in the sky but displays a dark house, whilst the light image shows details for the house but presents a &#8220;burned out&#8221; sky. Those three pictures were then combined in The Gimp using the <a href=\"http:\/\/turtle.as.arizona.edu\/jdsmith\/exposure_blend.php\">exposure blend<\/a> plugin.<\/p>\n<p>The present image isn&#8217;t very exciting but gives a good idea of the results you can achieve with this plugin.
