I’ve been quite busy those last days (weeks)…

So let keep it short:

I was getting bored with those eternity lasting emerge -u sync, stalling for more than 20 minutes between 50 and 54% when updating portage…

After some search in the Gentoo forums, I found this little tutorial, explaining how you can impressively increase portage’s speed using a cdb!

Now it only takes few seconds for calculating dependencies and so on after sync is performed… yeah!
